The importance of having a photographer at your wedding
They say that your wedding day is the best day of your life, so choosing the right photographer to capture those precious moments in crucial. The photographs captured are about so much more than they day itself. Yes, they tell a story and you can reflect on memories but they will also show the beginning of the next chapter of your life. With my photography services, I aim to capture not only how you looked but also the way you felt and the emotions from throughout the day.
From the father and daughters first look to the bridesmaids seeing the bridal gown for the first time, these are all reactions I aim to capture so that you can treasure the memories forever. We all know that when you have spent so long organising such a big event that when it comes to the actual day it will fly bay. You will love every minute of the day, but it will be over in the blink of an eye. Therefore, having a photographer, you will be able to relive the day from beginning to end.
Think of the photographs I capture as a freeze of time, it’s a moment you can’t relive so I plan of capturing that moment for you to cherish.
Photography as unique as you are
It’s likely that you have worked extremely hard on planning every last detail of your wedding and getting the day to be the perfect day that you have always dreamed about. If you have spent your time colour coordinating and finding the perfect, quaint accessories, I will aim for my photography to capture all of these unique features too. As a professional photographer, I will also recommend backdrops, poses and locations for photos that will put a smile on everybody’s face.
Capturing moments you may have missed
When it is your big day, it is difficult for you to get around and see everybody and there will be times where you are talking to loved ones and you miss something that just happened. Your guests will be able to tell you the story, but you won’t be able to see it. But that’s where a photographer comes into play. It could be something like one of your flower girls dancing or the reaction on one of your guests face that you missed. It’s important that when you look through your wedding photographs you feel as though you are reliving every moment not just watching them.
Capturing emotions throughout the day
From the beginning to the end of your day, the first kiss to the last dance, it’s about capturing the emotions. Some of the most common emotions I like to capture are…
- The bridesmaids first look at the weeding dress
- The father of the bride seeing his daughter for the first time in her bridal dress
- The groom and his groomsmen walking up the aisle
- The groom waiting anxiously for his bride to walk up the aisle
- The look of love when the bride and groom say ‘I do’
- The felling of ‘we are officially married’
- The first dance
- The last dance
And so much more! These are just a few of my favourites and you may have other expressions you’d like me to capture too.
